Mid Month Update

So, it's almost the middle of September.  How crazy is that?  I want to take a look back at my goals for September, and do a mid-month update and recap, mainly for my benefit.

  1. Weight loss goals - be in the low 170's by the end of the month.  Honestly, I'm not sure where I'm at on this one.  I weighed myself on Monday, September 5th, after getting back home from the wedding over Labor Day weekend, and I was up two pounds to 182.  I meant to weigh myself this morning, after getting home from a long weekend in Chicago, but I didn't think about it, until I was out of the shower, had a towel in my hair, and was starting to get dressed.  I'm pretty sure that I've gained more weight, but I'm hoping to at least maintain, since we did a ton of walking while we were there.
  2. Workout goals - work out for 23 out of the 30 days of September.  This has not happened in the least.  I neglected to think about the fact that I would be gone for two long weekends in the beginning of the month.  I guess, if you count all the walking that we did in Chicago, I've "worked out" for about 3 days out of the 12 that we've had to far.  Time to get back into the groove!
  3. Calorie and water goal - I've been really bad about tracking while I was gone.  I don't think I've tracked any food this month, with the exception of starting today.  It's sad, and I need to start.  I doubt that I've stayed under my calorie goals at all.
  4. Bike riding - at least three weekends with riding 15 to 20 miles.  This hasn't happened yet, but I will do it this weekend and next weekend.  There aren't three weekends left in September, but maybe I can do it on both Saturday and Sunday, to count as three weekends.
Well, so far the recap isn't looking that great.  However, I'm still holding myself accountable, and I believe that is what truly matters.

How are your goals going this month?
