This picture brings tears to my eyes. I love how the lack of symmetry seems so symmetrical. I love how I was able to play around with Picnik to create the vintage-y look. I look at this picture and remember watching my son see the ocean for the first time. Remember him putting his feet in the water, and running in the waves. Love it too. Like the way it is processed too. But mostly it's the capture, like someone caught a family just being together. Not posing, not even aware. Just being.
There IS a sense of symmetry there--the whole image has a lot of power. Beautiful shot!
